SafetyWorks is an occupational safety training and consulting firm that is located in Dillsburg, PA. Since 1999, we have been delivering professional safety know-how to our valued construction and manufacturing clients.
Our services focus on OSHA-related safety training, safety program management, and consultation services, and are delivered with the unique needs of your business in mind.

Craig Shaffer is president of SafetyWorks and delivers all of its professional services. Craig is regularly involved in field personnel training, safety program and committee oversight, site safety planning and inspections, construction OSHA-10/30 classes, written safety policy development, seminar presentations, and OSHA compliance and citation consultation.

Craig is a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and owner of SafetyWorks, Inc. With a bachelor’s degree in Physics from Penn State, he began his safety career as a loss control consultant for a regional insurance carrier in 1991 before founding SafetyWorks in 1999. He has spent the past 30+ years in applied safety management, training, and OSHA compliance consulting, with emphasis in the construction industry. Half of his time is spent training and the other half acting as a safety director for clients in the mid-Atlantic region.
Craig is a professional member of the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) and an authorized instructor for both construction OSHA-10 & -30 and American Red Cross 1st aid/CPR/AED classes. He has served on and chaired both local and national trade association safety committees and has spoken at over 15 state and national conferences, covering a variety of safety-related topics.
